The 2025 DI women’s lacrosse championship is set: No. 1 North Carolina will face No. 3 Northwestern in the championship final on Sunday, May 25 at noon.

Selections were revealed on May 4. The field of 29 teams was made up of 15 conference champions earning automatic bids and 14 at-large selections. The single-elimination tournament began on May 9 and will conclude with final rounds at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA, on May 23-25.

Tampa wins 2025 NCAA DII women’s lacrosse championship

The University of Tampa is the 2025 NCAA DII women’s lacrosse champion. The No. 1 Spartans defeated No. 3 Adelphi, 15-9, in the championship final on Saturday, May 24 at Kerr Stadium in Salem, VA.
