Cora will be back calling the shots when the series resumes Tuesday night. The Sox announced on Tuesday that Walker Buehler will get the start.
He hasn’t pitched since April 26 due to bursitis in his right (pitching) shoulder. He’ll look to pick up where he left off, when he won his last three starts before the injury and allowed three runs or fewer in four straight.
The Mets, who have dropped four of five, will counter with Clay Holmes. The righthander had earned three consecutive victories before taking the loss his last time out, allowing four runs on seven hits — including two home runs — in a 4-0 defeat to the Pirates.
